Ingredients for 1 glass

- 1 tablespoon of powdered cane sugar

- 1/2 lime

- 5 or 6 fresh mint leaves

- crushed ice (you can break some ice cubes)

- 6 cl of white rum

- sparkling water (like Perrier for example)

How to

1. I choose a glass large enough to pour the sugar and a few lemon wedges.

2. Using a pestle, I crush this mixture before adding the mint leaves.

Bonus tip

And if you are already a mojito consumer, there are alternatives to this classic recipe.

Do you know the Creole mojito? It tastes a bit more bitter if you add 3 or 4 drops of angostura bitters.

Or the royal mojito? The one for big occasions! Instead of sparkling water, we add champagne which will bring a sparkling and imperial side to your house cocktail.
